Data deletion
Last updated: 2026-07-11
You can delete your data from Turnix at any time, in two ways: directly from the app or by sending a request by e-mail. This page explains both procedures and which data gets deleted (right to erasure — art. 17 GDPR / UK GDPR / art. 32 nFADP).
1. In-app deletion (immediate)
Open Turnix and go to Settings → Reset all data. This operation immediately deletes, from the device, all local data (shifts, cropped images, alarms, reminders, preferences and the wellbeing-module data) and, from our servers, your shift data (shifts and uploaded PDFs). There is no need to contact us.
The wellbeing-module data (cycle, sleep, wellbeing) nonetheless stays only on the device: it is also deleted by disabling the single feature (Settings → corresponding section) or by uninstalling the app.
2. Full account deletion (by e-mail, within 30 days)
To delete your entire account — e-mail address, name and any residual data present on our servers (e.g. calendar events, shares and synced reminders) — send a request to info@turnix.ch from your account e-mail address. We will respond and complete the deletion within 30 days (art. 12 para. 3 GDPR); any data present in backups is removed within the following 90 days.
3. What data gets deleted
- E-mail address and account (authentication).
- Identifying name chosen in the app.
- Shift data: dates, cropped images (stickers), visual pHash fingerprints, clusters and calendar events.
- Google OAuth tokens (sign-in and/or Google Calendar) and Firebase push tokens.
- Health-feature data (on the device only): menstrual cycle, sleep, wellbeing and the related logs.
- Local preferences (language, theme) and app cache.
You can also revoke Google Calendar access from myaccount.google.com → Security → Apps with access to your account.
