Appointments, holidays and birthdays, with a reminder if you want, and a to-do list for each day, in the same calendar as your shifts. You can also export the list as a PDF.

Every evening, a summary

An evening notification sums up the next day: shift and times, first alarm, events and reminders. And the bell collects changed shifts, reminders and today's alarms.

With a code or a QR, a colleague or your partner sees your shifts read-only, inside Turnix, until you revoke it. Free.

Give each shift type a name and times

In the Legend, Turnix groups identical cells: give each type a name and times once, and they apply to every day of that type.

Add alarms, events and to-dos

You find them in the calendar and on each day's page, next to the shift.

When the new PDF arrives

Upload it: the changed days are marked and your alarms per shift type move to the new shifts.

Answers to the most common questions.

Is my data safe?
Your account data is stored with Supabase, on servers in the European Union (Ireland). Connections are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) and on the server each user can only access their own data, except the colleagues you share your shifts with, who see your shifts and your name. No data is sold or used for advertising. All the details are in the Privacy Policy.
Does it work without a connection?
Yes, for what is already on your phone: calendar, alarms and planner open without internet, and your changes go to the server when you are back online. You need a connection to sign in.
Which shift PDFs can it read?
Grid shift PDFs, with one row per person and one column per day: Turnix reads the names in the PDF on your phone, lets you choose yours and crops your cells. The PDF and your colleagues' names stay on your phone. If your PDF cannot be read, you can enter your shifts by hand.
Does Turnix read the shift code?
Yes: on your phone it reads the code written in the cell and saves it, but it shows you the image of the cell just as it is in the PDF. You enter the times yourself, once per shift type, and Turnix uses them for every day of that type, recognised from the image of the cell.
Do alarms ring when the app is closed?
Yes: they are scheduled in your phone's system and ring even when the app is closed and with no connection. On Android, if Turnix's Settings show a notice about exact alarms or battery saving, follow it: without that permission an alarm can be late or not ring while the phone is idle. For important shifts and alarms, always check the official PDF.
I don't have a shift PDF: can I still use it?
Yes. Create your shift types (code, times, colours) and put them on days with one tap, or build a rotation (for example M-M-A-A-N-N-O-O) and apply it to up to 90 days at a time; you can save it to use it again.
What is free and what is Premium?
Free, also after the trial: shifts from the PDF or by hand, changed days, single alarms, events and to-dos, evening summary, shift sharing, widget, 6 languages, no ads. Premium (yearly subscription, price shown on Google Play / App Store): alarms per shift type with the sleep features, statistics with PDF report and CSV data, image of the month, Google Calendar, sleep, wellbeing, cycle and reminders, the Companion and Insights. The full list is in the Terms of Service, section 6.
How does the 14-day trial work?
It starts at your first sign-in, once per account, and needs no credit card: at the end there is no charge and Turnix stays free with the basic features. Without Premium, alarms per shift type are switched off but not deleted, and you can turn them back on with Premium; single alarms stay active.
How do I cancel the subscription?
In the store, before it renews: on Android in Google Play (in the app: Settings → Subscription → “Manage or cancel on Google Play”), on iPhone in your Apple Account settings. Uninstalling the app or deleting your account does not cancel the subscription. After you cancel, Premium stays active until the end of the paid period.
How does shift sharing work?
In Settings → Shift sharing you create a code or a QR and give it to a colleague or your partner. Once they accept it, they see your shifts (name and times) and your name, read-only, until you revoke it. They do not see health data, events or notes.
Is Turnix available on iPhone?
For now Turnix is on Google Play, for Android. The iPhone version is coming soon to the App Store.
Which languages is it available in?
In 6 languages: Italian, English, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese. The app uses your phone's language and you can change it in Settings → App language.
Where does health data go?
Sleep, wellbeing, cycle and reminders stay only on your phone, encrypted: they do not go to Turnix's server or to third parties. They are off until you turn them on; sleep, wellbeing and cycle only with your explicit consent, which you can withdraw. Turning a module off deletes its data from the phone. Turnix is not a medical device: the data of these modules is for informational and personal use only and does not replace a doctor's advice.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings → Delete account. You can also write to us from your account's e-mail address. What is deleted and what remains: Delete your account.
