How do I upload the shift PDF?

Open Turnix → tap the "Upload shift PDF" button at the top → select your shift PDF file → tap "Start". The app automatically identifies your name, crops the calendar cells, and applies recurring alarms if configured.

How do I set a recurring alarm for a shift type?

Long-press a calendar cell → tap "Manage alarm" → select the time → Turnix automatically applies the alarm to ALL future days with the same shift type (recognised visually through the cropped cell, without interpreting the code).

What is the difference between Turnix Free and Premium?

Free: 14-day free trial with all features + ad-supported mode after the trial (small, non-intrusive banner ads).
Premium (CHF/EUR 19.90/year): removes all ads + early access to new statistics + monthly sharing + bidirectional Google Calendar sync.

How does Turnix handle my personal data (GDPR)?

Turnix complies with GDPR + Swiss nLPD + UK GDPR. Your data (shifts, alarms, events) are stored on Supabase eu-west-1 Ireland (EU-adequacy). We do not sell or share your data. You have the right to complete erasure. See the full Privacy Policy.

How do I delete my Turnix account?

Open Turnix → Settings → Account → "Delete account". All your personal data (shifts, alarms, events, profile) are erased from our servers within 30 days (plus 90 days of encrypted backup for recovery in case of technical error). GDPR Article 17 right to erasure guaranteed.

Can I delete only some of my data without closing my account?

Yes. Turnix offers 3 partial data deletion options that allow you to keep your account active:

  • Reset all app data (Settings → "Reset all data"): deletes shifts, cropped images (PDF crops), calendar events, recurring alarms, onboarding configuration, and the app's identifying name. Your email account remains active so you can reuse the app in the future. Data deleted from servers within 30 days + full removal from backups within the following 90 days.
  • Disconnect Google Calendar (Settings → Google Calendar sync → "Disconnect"): immediately deletes the Google OAuth tokens stored on the device (Hive box google_calendar_sync_v1) and revokes sync consent. Calendar.events already synced to Google remain visible in your Google Calendar (you can remove them manually from Google Calendar if you wish). For additional server-side revocation: myaccount.google.com → Security → Apps with access.
  • Automatic PDF crop deletion: the cropped images of PDF cells (visual calendar stickers) are automatically deleted after 365 days of non-use, in compliance with the data minimisation principle (art. 5(c) GDPR / art. 6(4) nLPD).

Can I recover my shifts if I change device?

Yes. Turnix automatically syncs your data to the cloud (Supabase EU) linked to your account. When you install Turnix on a new device and sign in with the same email (magic link), your shifts and settings are restored automatically.

Can I use Turnix on multiple devices with the same account?

Yes. The same Turnix account works on multiple Android and iOS devices simultaneously. Changes made on one device are synced automatically to the others via Supabase EU cloud.
